During the summer vacation, I read a book. It is the adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain, an American writer. This book tells us that Tom is a very naughty boy. He and his half brother are under the custody of Aunt Polly. One day, Tom and Huckleberry Finn made an appointment to go to the graveyard to have a daring competition, but they saw that Joe, the Indian, killed Dr. Robinson, and then blamed the stunned mufport. Tom thought that no one cared about him, so he and Huck went to find the treasure. After suffering, he found the treasure of Joe the Indian.

In Tom, wisdom, scheming, justice, bravery, leadership and many other talents are embodied.

For a long time, only a person’s great virtue, a noble soul,a beautiful heart can be called as AN EVERLASTING BEAUTY, just asKahill Gibran has said, that ‘Beauty is a heart enflamed and a soulenchanted’. I can feel that how beauty really is, as we are allfleshly men, so we can’t distinguish whether a man is of noblenessor humbleness, but fleshly men, so we can’t distinguish whether aman is of nobleness or humbleness, but as there are greatdifferences in our souls, and from that, we can know that whether aman is noble or ordinary, and even obscure, that is, whether he isbeautiful or not.Her story makes us thinking about life and we learn much from herexperience, at least, that is a fresh new recognition of the realbeauty.

The protagonist Tom Sawyer is a naughty child. He can always come up with all kinds of mischief, which makes Aunt Polly helpless, and he can always find ways to avoid punishment.

Tom did not flinch and fear when he met the murderer, but bravely faced up to him, and finally defeated the enemy. When he was trapped in the cave, he did not fear, and finally walked out of the cave with strong perseverance. Although Tom is mischievous, he is brave, strong and caring for others. As the prince growed up,he made a decision to explore other planets and leave his hometown,a planet which just one person lived in.When travelling in the other planets,he discovered that his rose is not the only one of its kind.There are abandunt kinds of roses in the garden,but he still held the opinoion that his rose is special "because it is she that I have watered; because it is she that I have put under the glass globe; because it is she that I have sheltered behind the screen" .

When he came to the earth ,another significant character ,the fox , teached the little prince to take his own responsibility bravely . What’s more ,the fox is also the little prince’s best friend and help with his understanding of the meaning of friendship.

All the story is told by a piolet ,who is another hero in the tale and met the little prince in the Sahara .At the end of the story ,the little prince died on the Earth with the piolet.

The writer made the story from the child’s view.Actually,what the

prince said is what the writer wanted to said.The theme of the story is to criticize the human beings’ drawbacks.As a alien, the little prince could see the human beings’ disadvantages clearly.
